About Burblepix:

Officially launched at the beginning of 2010, Burblepix is a privately owned and funded company, and specialises in personalized digital photographic products using state of the art facilities and a wealth of experience. Burblepix is one of the leading Photo book producers in South Africa and focuses strongly on ensuring high standards and quality in everything we do. The candidate is expected to be able to quickly adopt these brand values ensuring that from dealing with customers queries and possible complaints a clear brand voice is used and high standards are met. Due to rapid growth we are looking for a new member to join the team and help to shape the future developments of the support team. The ideal candidate will have the skills listed, and will also be expected to get hands on and be an extra member in other areas of the business.

Main purpose of job:

To provide service to customers, order processing and administration.

Main responsibilities:

Customer Support
  • Efficiently and effectively handle queries from customers
  • Achieve individual targets and contribute fully to achieving departmental response time targets and the goals.
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide technical assistance in order to answer customer enquiries
  • Liaise with other areas of the company as well as any relevant third parties through appropriate channels
  • Process and quality check all orders received from customers through various channels.
  • Fulfill related administration function
Operational
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all functions within department
  • Achieve daily targets
  • If required, provide support to other teams
Process
  • Adhere to all relevant HR processes, involving sickness, holidays and absence
  • Support changes to Company policy
Other Duties
  • Assist in providing training to customers and other support teams when required.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Help management to evaluate root causes of any issues and strive to alleviate such issues from occurring
  • Actively exhibit and develop professionalism at all times and respect confidentiality where required
Experience:
Essential
  • Flexible to the changing demands of a ecommerce environment
  • Fast learner, with the ability to get up to speed with product & systems processes quickly
  • Reliable with excellent time management
  • Have a 'Can Do' attitude
Desirable
  • Experience of working within a customer service oriented environment
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience of dealing with online queries via email, phone or live chat
  • Photographic skills or knowledge of photography
