Text or pictures can be removed by selecting it and then pressing the delete key.
Please note that the default text will not print on your album, but if part of it is changed it will print in your album. We recommend that if you do not want text in a particular spot, rather delete it than run the risk of having unwanted text in your album.
Yes. When the album is opened on the main screen, click on the '+' button above the photo list on the right hand side of the screen, and select the photos you wish to add.
A dotted line appearing near the edge of the page shows the ‘safe area’, indicating that the area between the dotted line and the edge of the page may either be cut off or folded (according to the specific album finishing). It is therefore recommended that you do not place important elements in this area, especially text which should be kept within the dotted line.
When you create an album using the 'New Album Wizard', you can select the number of pages in the 'Initial page design' screen. The default number is included in the basic album price, but you can change it to any other number from the displayed options. The system will recommend the number of pages for you to select, by calculating the number of photos as well as the page design you have selected. If you select more pages than the default the price will increase proportionally. At any stage you may add or remove pages from the main editing screen by using the 'Add page' and 'Remove page' buttons (above the pages list).
Flag icons are image quality warnings. On occasion when filling in a photo, a blue warning sign will appear on the border of the picture. This warning indicates that the quality of the photo may not be high enough for printing purposes. It is recommended that the photo be made smaller until the warning sign disappears (best quality) or slightly bigger than this size (if it is required for your page layout design). A red warning sign indicates that the picture quality is significantly lower than recommended for printing purposes - the image therefore needs to be reduced considerably in size or replaced with another image.
The quality might be worse than you've hoped for although you could get away with it. It is a chance you take. We do not accept responsibility for pixelated pics and will not reprint the job. Try to use a different picture or make the picture smaller until the flag disappears.
Yes. You can change any selection that you have made during the album creation process. To change a background, select the required page and click on 'Backgrounds' in the toolbox. Then drag the background you wish to use to the working space. If you want to use the selected background for all the pages in the album, right click on the background and select 'Copy background’, then right click again and select 'Paste background on all pages'. For more details, see the Backgrounds section.
Right click on the image and select from the menu "Rotate | Right" or "Rotate | Left" to rotate your picture 90 degress clockwise or anti clockwise. To rotate it only a few degrees, select "Rotate | a bit to the left/right" from the menu.
You can crop your picture by double clicking on the picture and moving / re-sizing the block where your picture will be visible. Alternatively you can select the picture, right click and then choose from the menu "Image Size | Show full image in frame".
Once your album is finished you may start the ordering process by clicking on the order icon at the top of the screen. Alternatively select "Order | Order album" from the top menu. Follow the 3 easy steps in the ordering wizard, then continue to the payment process to complete the order. Note that even if you are paying by EFT and not by Credit Card you still need to complete the online payment process.
When you are ordering an album and have completed the payment process, Burblepix will automatically start encrypting and copying the files to a zip folder. When this process is completed, the folder containing the zip file (C:\Burble_Albums) will open in windows explorer. Write this zip file to a CD using any CD burning software.
Please note that if you rename the *.zip file it will become unusable. (it should be named something like this:
90172251#20315532.zip)

Your finished product should reach you via post / courier within 10 -12 days of order reception and payment confirmation. Orders are only processed once payment is received.
You may order another copy of a photo book that you have already ordered as follows: open the album and select 'Order | Order another copy' from the main menu. The following question will appear: Would you like to make an exact copy of the album? If you select 'Yes', the system will create a new order which will be exactly the same as your last order. If you select 'No', the system will display the list of album types from which you need to select your required album type. In both cases the system will display the new order on the main screen. If you do not wish to make changes to the album you may immediately continue to the ordering process (by clicking on the 'Order' button), or you may begin editing the new order and continue to the order process later. Note: The new order will have a different order number than your original order. Go through and check layouts which may need adjusting if an album with smaller or larger dimensions than the original is ordered.
